In reply to <a href="https://nicklombardy.com/building-boneblocker/#comment-5941">Jasper Leclerc</a>.

Thanks Jasper!

The whole project took months to complete. Setting up all the LEDs and getting everything working wasn't too bad, but in total, it was around a month to run the LEDs and wire up all the controllers. Glad I chose to use addressable strips, because the wiring requirements for individual LEDs or even panels would have made this project take much longer! I also can't recommend the WLED firmware enough! It meant that I could focus on controlling the LEDs and playing the game through the WLED API. Not having to worry with the code on the microcontrollers driving the LEDs made the project much more achievable! Also, I am really happy to report that I haven't discovered a single failed LED in the strips that I bought!

Great job on bringing BoneBlocker to life! It sounds like a fantastic addition to Boneyard Chattanooga. Just curious, how long did it take you to set up all those LEDs and make sure they were functioning perfectly? With such a detailed project, I can imagine there were a few challenges along the way.

Also, if you'd like to explore more on programming, there's an interesting blog about JavaScript at https://sebbie.pl/tag/javascript/. They cover similar in-depth tech projects which could offer some fresh insights or inspiration. Looking forward to seeing the wall in action at Coin-Op! Cheers!
